The Italian daily “El Folio” published the first number in the world fully born using an artificial intelligence generator called (Il Foglio Ai).
The newspaper’s editor -in -chief, Claudio Seraza, said that the “El Folio” initiative, with a conservative liberal orientation, is part of a month -long press experience, and aims to highlight the impact of artificial intelligence technology “on the style of work and daily life.”
The number of artificial intelligence from “El Folio”, the four -page, was included in the newspaper’s paper, and it was allowed to sell newspapers and online from last Tuesday.
“This will be the first daily number in the world to be presented in newspapers that have been fully prepared using artificial intelligence. In everything: writing, titles, quotes, summaries, and sometimes even ridicule,” he added.
The editor -in -chief of the newspaper pointed out that the role of journalists was limited to “asking questions (on an artificial intelligence tool) and reading answers.”
This experience comes at a time when media institutions around the world are trying to determine how to employ artificial intelligence.
Earlier this month, the Guardian newspaper reported that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) intends to use artificial intelligence to provide more specialized content to the public.
Ceraza noted that “El Folio AI” represents a “real newspaper”, which is the product of “news and discussions”, but he also made it clear that it is a “test field” for how artificial intelligence “on the ground” and knowing its impact on the production of a daily newspaper using this technology.
And he added: “It is just another version of (El) Volio made intelligently … Do not call it the status of artificial.”
