The competent investigation authorities opened an investigation into the incident of the attack on the student Karma inside the Capital International School in the Fifth Settlement, after her family submitted an official communication in which she accuses the school of neglect and negligence in performing her duties towards students.

Lawyer, Rabie Khalili, said that the investigations include listening to the student’s victim’s statements and her family, in addition to a number of eyewitnesses from school students and parents. The school administration and supervisors responsible for securing students will be called on the school campus to hear their statements regarding the circumstances of the accident and the measures taken during and after the incident.
The student, Karma, was subjected to physical assault by three students inside the school, which resulted in a broken nose and separate bruises, and the incident sparked widespread controversy through social media, where many parents demanded the need to tighten control of international schools, and to take strict measures to ensure the safety of students.
In a related context, the Ministry of Education announced the formation of a committee to review security and safety procedures within the school, while the educational administration decided to put the Capital International School under financial and administrative supervision until the investigations are completed.
It is noteworthy that the family of the student Karma stressed in previous statements that she will not give up the right of her daughter, stressing the need to hold the negligent, to ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future.
