The Saudi national team tied negatively against Japan, in a strong confrontation that witnessed a competitive performance between the two teams, but the joy of the draw turned into a state of resentment due to the logistical crisis that the team faced after the meeting.
Commenting on the situation, the journalist Muhammad Al -Bakiri wrote on the X -platform:
“Is this exhausting mistake for the players to bear the Secretariat of the Football Association and its secretary with the management of the team, or does it have no owner? We are waiting for clarification and apology!
According to the reports, the delay of the trip came as a result of the poor coordination of reservations, as the seats of the players were booked on Emirati and Qatar Airways in an unorganized manner, which led to their having to wait for another trip that will start on Wednesday towards Saudi Arabia.
This crisis comes at a sensitive time, as green stars are associated with important local matches in early April, which may affect their physical readiness after this unexpected delay.
