Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al -Dahhak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, said: “While we celebrate the achievements of women and girls around the world, we must also realize the challenge of the climate crisis, which greatly threatens their recovery and lifestyles in the future.” She added that the presence of women and girls on the front lines of the climate crisis also makes them in a unique position that qualifies them to be the pioneers of change. This is what we seek in the Ministry of Climate Change and the Environment, while we celebrate International Women’s Day, and here in the UAE, women are leaders and makers of change and skilled specialists, they lead the journey of our beloved country towards a sustainable future.
