The US National Intelligence Director, Toulcy Gabbard, said on Sunday that what Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski did at the White House “caused a great rift in relations between the United States and Ukraine.”

“Zelinski said he wanted to end this war, but he wants a victory even if it caused this at a very high cost, such as the outbreak of a third world war, or even a nuclear war.”

She pointed out that Trump is “committed to peace and freedom, especially since there is a great spacing between the interests of the American people and the interests of Zelinski.”

“Any deal that Trump will hold will be linked to the factors on the table, and negotiate with all parties, so the accusations related to his extra confidence in Russian President Vladimir Putin are not realistic, because he is looking for what is in the interest of the American people, and our ability to live in peace and prosperity.”

Massan in Ukraine

Gabbard said that there are two paths of what is happening in Ukraine.

As for the second, “he is the one that Trump wants, and focused on him throughout his election campaign, and voted on the American people in his favor, is his commitment to ending this war, and bringing peace that requires bringing all parties to the table and conducting these negotiations.”

“The cancellation of the elections in Ukraine means that there are political parties that are silenced, or even criminalized or dumped in prison,” Gabbard said, also claiming that “a number of churches are closed, a political opposition that is silenced, and full government control over the media.”

She added that there is a “long list of issues that contradict the values of democracy and freedom in Ukraine.”

European countries’ position

Gabbard considered that the position of European countries shows “the spacing between the values for which Trump and his deputy, GD Vans, were fighting against those of many European countries, which announced the support of Zelinski after leaving the White House.”

She added: “These countries said that they will support him in continuing the war, and that they do not stand with us on these basic values of freedom.”

European and Western leaders participated in the British capital, London, on Sunday, in a summit to discuss European security and mobilize support for Ukraine, in preparation for the expected peace talks with Russia.

“Those who criticize Trump’s efforts in his efforts to achieve peace, do not want it,” Gabbard said.

Gabbard considered that “the Americans are happy with the strong leadership that Trump and his deputy in the Oval Office in front of Zelinski, something we have not seen over the past four years of the Biden administration,” Gabbard said.
