Abu Dhabi: “The Gulf” concluded the “Al Wathba Dates Festival” yesterday, its second session competitions, which were held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidency Bureau, and organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, during the period from January 10 to March 22, 2025, within the activities of the Sheikh Zayed Festival. The festival witnessed 12 competitions for the wrapping of dates “additions and without additions” for six varieties: “Salvation, imposition, Dabbas, Bouman, Shishi, Zamili”, which allocated 120 awards with a total value exceeding two million dirhams, as the competitions recorded the participation of 310 producers and manufacturers who provided more than 3100 kg in innovative and sustainable packages according to standards and specifications that are characterized
