The Chairman of the Shura Council, Ali Al-Saleh, expressed the sincere appreciation and gratitude of the financial and economic affairs in the Shura and House of Representatives, and to all members of the legislative authority, for their great efforts in discussing the state’s general budget project for the fiscal years 2025-2026, stressing that the approval of the budget in its final form came thanks to the high directives of His Majesty the King, and with the support of the Crown Prince.
He pointed out that the budget took into account the requirements of comprehensive development, social justice and economic sustainability, which reflects positively on enhancing the welfare of citizens and achieving a decent living for them.
He pointed to the spirit of cooperation and consensus that prevailed in the consultative meetings between the legislative and executive authorities, appreciating the directives of the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister of the Ministerial Work Team, to enhance joint coordination to ensure the achievement of the desired national goals.
The Speaker of the Shura Council thanked the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the heads of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee in the two chambers, praising their role in discussing the budget and reaching consensus that are in the interest of the country and citizens.
He also valued the efforts of the Minister of Finance and National Economy Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and his government team for their efforts in providing accurate information and data on development projects and economic programs.
He expressed his thanks to the Minister of Affairs of the Shura Council and Representatives Ghanem Al -Buainain, for his constant keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination between the legislative and executive authorities, in a manner that ensures the integration of roles to achieve the national interest.
Al -Saleh concluded his statement by emphasizing the common determination between the executive and legislative authorities to make the interest of the country and the citizen at the forefront of priorities, looking forward to that the new budget law contributes to achieving more progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain, in light of the wise leadership of His Majesty.
