The Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council, Khaled Al-Muscati, emphasized that the joint cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities continues regarding the state’s general budget project for the two financial years 2025-2026, in a way that preserves economic growth and achieves financial sustainability for everything in the interest of the country and citizens, noting all the options offered to develop the general budget structure, in a way that is in improving the current standard of living And the future for future generations.
Al -Muscati pointed out that the consultations are continuing with the spirit of one team between the two authorities to achieve the desired consensus and develop financial and economic support programs, stressing that the goal is common to the two sides, which is to achieve the best in a way that benefits everyone, and work will also be done to find additional initiatives to achieve the budget surplus to reduce the older deficits and needs, to maintain financial stability, and create promising opportunities for citizens.
