Al -Hilal Saudi Club decided its final decision regarding the participation in the Arab Champions Championships, which will be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, next summer, after reports on the participation of a number of Saudi clubs in the competition.
Sports journalist Abdel -Rahman Al -Jumaz, through his account on the X platform, confirmed that Al -Hilal decided not to participate in the Arab Championship, and it is expected that the club administration will announce this decision officially during the coming days, which means the absence of one of the largest mass teams from the upcoming competition.
The reason for Al -Hilal refused to participate
Press reports indicated that Al -Hilal decided to apologize for participating because of the crowded schedule of the team, where the leader is preparing to participate in the 2025 Club World Cup, which will be held during the period from June 14 to July 13, that is, only 10 days after the end of the Saudi Roshen League.
Since the Arab Championship will be held from July 25 to August 11, the players will not get a sufficient rest period before the start of the new season, which prompted the administration to take this decision in order to preserve the team’s readiness.
Thus, Al -Hilal will devote himself to preparing for the next season, after his participation in the World Cup clubs, where the leader seeks to compete strongly for all local and continental titles.
