Al -Hilal Saudi Club decided its final position on contracting with the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool wing, during the next summer transfer window, ending all speculation about the possibility of his transfer to the Roshen League.
Sports journalist Bandar Al -Waqit denied through his official account on the “X” platform the authenticity of the news circulating about the existence of negotiations between Al -Hilal and Salah, stressing that the club decided to dismiss the permanently on the deal.
According to press reports, the failure of the deal is due to the huge financial demands requested by the Egyptian star, as he was seeking to obtain a salary that exceeds the salary of Frenchman Karim Benzema, the player of Al -Ittihad, and is close to the salary of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.
Al -Hilal administration considered that Salah’s financial conditions are very high, compared to the budget allocated to strengthening the team before the 2025 Club World Cup, which prompted the club to focus on other options to strengthen its ranks.
