The board of directors of the Egyptian club Al -Ahly, headed by Mahmoud Al -Khatib, took a new decision on the crisis of the 130th match match between the Egyptian football poles Al -Ahly and Zamalek, which was scheduled for last March 11.

The board of directors of the Egyptian club Al -Ahly refused to play the summit match against the traditional rival Zamalek, and not to go to the match stadium in Cairo International Stadium, due to the appointment of an Egyptian referee, the referee Mahmoud Bassiouni.

Al -Ahly club stuck to play the summit match against Zamalek in the presence of a foreign arbitration team, and he was also determined in his request to the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association headed by Ahmed Diab.

Al -Ahly Club said in an official statement, on Tuesday evening: “The Egyptian Al -Ahly club renewed its speech for the second time for the Egyptian Olympic Committee, in which he requests to see the response of both the Professional Clubs Association and the Egyptian Football Association to the club’s complaint regarding the summit match, which was specified for March 11 this month.”

In his speech, Al -Ahly affirmed his project to see all the documents submitted by the two parties, and to respond to them, and to set the date of a hearing to present everything that confirms Al -Ahly’s right to request the summit match with a foreign arbitration team.

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association relied on the Zamalek team’s victory over the Red Genie with three clean after its withdrawal from playing the match, in addition to deducting 3 points at the end of the Egyptian League competition.
