Al -Abbasi: The launch of the digital innovation competition in parliamentary work emanating from the royal visions that support investment in youth

Karima Mohamed Al -Abbasi, Secretary -General of the Shura Council, announced the launch of the “Shura Council for Digital Innovation in Parliamentary Work” for the youth category, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Bahrain Technical College (Bahrain Polytechnic), in conjunction with the celebration of Bahraini Youth Day, where the goals of this competition emerge from the royal visions that support investment in youth, and stimulate creativity and innovation in science and knowledge Modern and future technologies, as an essential element in achieving sustainable development.

The Secretary -General of the Shura Council indicated that this competition reflects the support of the Council headed by His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Saleh Al -Saleh, the head of the council, for the efforts to empower Bahraini youth, by launching initiatives that contribute to enhancing youth participation in the paths of national action, and within a framework of partnership and fruitful cooperation with the authorities with a positive impact in the capabilities of youth and their capabilities to expand their contributions to the renaissance of the country.

Al -Abbasi explained that the competition aims to motivate Bahraini youth to provide innovative digital projects or technical studies that contribute to developing and enhancing the efforts of digital transformation in parliamentary work, in order to keep pace with technological developments and contribute to improving institutional performance and enhancing operational efficiency, stressing that this initiative comes within the framework of supporting youth creativity and benefiting from their energies and entrepreneurship, stressing that Bahraini youth have proven their ability to creativity Innovation in various fields, and achieved distinguished achievements at local and international levels.

Al -Abbasi pointed out that the competition that extends from March 25 to June 30 this year will include several stages in a way that ensures the selection of qualitative posts with a digital impact, with the allocation of prizes and financial rewards for the winners, calling on Bahraini youth to actively participate in this competition and invest them as an opportunity to highlight their creative ideas, and contribute to developing the parliamentary work environment through innovative digital solutions.
