Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, announced that the state of emergency in the various cities of the governorate coincides with the expected weather fluctuations in the coming days starting today, Saturday.
The governor stressed the importance of taking the necessary preventive measures in all local units and executive bodies, with a focus on reducing the impact of climate fluctuations on maritime navigation and various activities.
Unstable weather in the Red Sea
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced the instability of weather conditions with a noticeable and gradual decrease in temperatures.
It is expected that light rains reach thunderstorm sometimes in the areas of southern Sinai and the chains of the Red Sea Mountains, while the rains are light in areas of the far gap in the country, the wind movement is greatly active and contributes to the disruption of maritime navigation on the Gulf of Suez, bringing the waves to rise to 3 meters.
