Engineer Abdel -Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, and his deputy, Dr. Hisham Abu Zaid, inspected the work of the drinking water and sanitation company in Nagaa Al -Hamzi in Al -Habeel, where water gatherings appeared around the sewage deposit lines in Qatari 700 mm and 1000 mm, which raised questions about its source.
The search for the cause continues amid fears of a new fracture
The bulldozers of the company and its workers continue to excavate and remove soil in an attempt to determine the main cause of these gatherings, amid fears of the repetition of the scenario of last February, when a fracture on the same lines led to an unprecedented water crisis that lasted for six days.

Water Company: The situation is stable and there is no interruption for the service currently
On the other hand, the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Luxor issued a statement reassuring the citizens that the water was not currently cut off, stressing that in the event of the need for any procedures, it will be announced in advance of a period of no less than four hours, and the company stressed the stability of the general situation and the absence of a crisis at the present time.

The examination operations are still continuing to determine the sudden source of water, in light of the citizens ’anticipation of any developments that may affect the city’s water supply.
