The Southern Municipal Council approved the implementation of a comprehensive development of the National Charter Street at the 939 complex in the fourth district.
The Southern Rabaa representative, Mohamed Darraj, explained that the National Charter Street leading to “Alba” is one of the vital streets, noting that the development of the street will meet the need of the residents, and will facilitate the flow of traffic. Drag stated that the development requests include the establishment of a tunnel with two back and forth from the hanging traffic lights along the street in order to reduce traffic congestion of vehicles, in addition to expanding the street by adding a fourth path from King Hamad Street towards the National Charter Street, to enable vehicles to turn in the opposite to enter the Al -Hujayat area.
Daraj also called for the establishment of a water drainage network and its linking to Al -Mahzoura Street, while the council agreed to submit a letter to the relevant authorities regarding the proposal.
