A new study found the possibility to reproduce the painful effects of the pain caused by the hemp using a factory compound that avoids the properties of addiction and mental changes of natural plants, and the study was published in the Pubased Wednesday magazine.
A study of a hemp -like industrial vehicle that relieves pain without addiction
The new study showed that a modified hemp compound, which uses specially designed molecules, is associated with nerve cells that senses pain in the body such as natural hemp and provides a similar relief to pain.
There was a major difference that synthetic molecules carry a positive charge that prevents them from crossing the blood barrier in the brain into the brain, eliminating the side effects that change the mind that make hemp caused by addiction.
Moreover, the researchers found evidence that the frequent use of the compound does not produce endurance like opioid pain relievers, where there are needed doses from ever to achieve the same effects.
The study, which was funded by the National Institutes of Health, comes at a time when scientists seek to develop a safe and effective alternative to opiates, whose addictive properties have caused more than 2.5 million American adults with opioids.
In 2023, about 81,000 deaths occurred due to overdose doses of opiates, despite widespread general health warnings and media attention.
