The issue of energy sources formed a critical file during the past years, in a continuous attempt, by the teams of scientists around the world to reduce energy consumption, search for ways to achieve sustainability, preserve the environment, and reduce carbon emissions.
The Scientific Research Team from King Abdullah University, in cooperation with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, announced the development of a new technology, which can be used by one of the sustainable lighting means through nanoparticles.
The results of the scientific team also showed the ability of this advanced technology to reduce the carbon emissions produced by the lighting lamps in the streets where traditional lamps operate, through diode technology responsible for light emissions according to the report issued by the Techcrunch technical website.
A sustainable environmentally friendly lighting
According to the report issued by the study team, “the new lighting technology using nanocelets works to save energy, which is was largely wasted in the form of heat by simply lighting the lamps as well as the weak life.
The study team worked to improve lighting sources by reducing the amount of energy needed while achieving an environmental sustainability component, by providing human consumption rates of electricity, which represents the largest part of wasting energy and carbon emissions.
The study also aims to improve the efficiency of lighting sources while maintaining the cooling of lights responsible for lighting, which contributes to reducing energy waste, preserving the environment while achieving sustainability and converting lighting sources into an environmentally friendly.
