The security services managed to control a neurotic formation consisting of 7 criminal elements specialized in bringing and smuggling narcotic drugs for the purpose of trafficking in South Sinai Governorate.

This came after receiving information confirmed by the investigations of the public security sector in coordination with the South Sinai Security Directorate, stating that the defendants promoted narcotic substances to their customers.
After codifying the procedures, the forces succeeded in seizing them, and they were found in their possession about 59 kg of hashish, in addition to a car they were using in their criminal activity.
The financial value of the seized narcotic articles is estimated at about 2.9 million pounds. The necessary legal measures have been taken against the accused, and they are being presented to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigations.
In another context, the security services of the Ministry of Interior took legal measures, regarding one of the persons in Minya, for washing 100 million pounds, obtained from his criminal activity in the field of trafficking narcotic substances.
The General Administration of Narcotics Control in the Anti -Narcotics, Weapons and Ammunition Sector directed unlicensed in coordination with the agencies concerned with the Ministry to take legal measures against a criminal component who has criminal information residing in Minya Governorate for laundering money obtained from his criminal activity in trafficking in narcotic drugs
And his attempt to hide its source and its dye in the legal character and show it as if it were caused by legitimate entities by establishing commercial activities and buying lands and real estate, and these properties were estimated at about 100 million pounds, and legal measures were taken.
This comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior’s agencies aimed at combating money laundering crimes, tracking the wealth of people with criminal activities, limiting and monitoring their property and taking legal measures against them
