Eid Al -Fitr holiday in the government sector 1446
The Ministry of Human Resources explained the date of the Eid Al -Fitr holiday for all employees who work in the government sector, based on a set of executive work regulations in Saudi Arabia, according to the following:
- The beginning of the holiday is from the 29th of Shawwal for the year 1446 AH corresponding to March 29, 2025 AD.
- The vacation period is decided for 5 days, and after that the employees begin to return to their work, on Wednesday, 4 Shawwal.
- The staff leave in the government sector for those who follow the civil system begin on the 25th of Ramadan, corresponding to March 25, with their vacation to end on Saturday, 7 Shawwal, corresponding to April 5, and they return to work at the beginning of Shawwal 8, corresponding to April 6.

When is Eid Al -Fitr vacation in the private sector 1446
The institutions and companies with the private sector are keen to give the employees who work with them and this is on the basis of the company’s system. Some companies give leave, grant alternatives, or material compensation, and their leave came as follows:
- The holiday starts from Saturday, 29 Ramadan, which falls on March 29.
- The leave lasts for 4 days, that is, until Tuesday, 3 Shawwal.
- The employees begin to return to their work from Wednesday, 4 Shawwal.
Manifestations of celebration of Eid al -Fitr in Saudi Arabia
The manifestations of celebration of Eid al -Fitr in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia vary with the aim of introducing joy and happiness to the heart of citizens, and among those manifestations are the following:
