The Municipal Department of Planning in Ajman achieved 99.02% in food samples that match food safety laws during the past year 2024, after examining 8658 food samples, in line with the strategic goal of enhancing food safety. Dr. Eng. Khaled Moeen Al -Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector in the department, stressed that the interest in the health and safety of everyone is the most important objectives of the department and a basic priority in its work, explaining that the percentage achieved in examining food samples witnessed an increase compared to the same period in the year 2023, which amounted to 98.65%, with a test of 10774 food samples.
