The Russian Consulate General in Hurghada mourned 6 Russian citizens, including two children, as a result of the Sinbad submarine accident, today, Thursday, in the Red Sea.
The consulate said in a statement: We mourn with great sadness and sorrow the death of 6 Russian citizens, including two children, as a result of the Sinbad submarine accident today, and we express our sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.
The Russian consulate confirmed: Until now, 7 Russian citizens, including 5 minors, are still in Hurghada Hospitals, and according to the doctors, their condition is not concerned.

Earlier in the day, the Red Sea Operations Room received a notification of drowning a tourist submarine in front of Marina, one of the famous hotels, and deaths and injuries.
Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, announced the raising of the maximum level of preparation, and 21 ambulances were moved to the scene and transported the injured to hospitals due to the difficulty of their cases.
It is noteworthy that the sunken submarine has been working on tourist trips in the city of Hurghada for several years.
