The security services in the Beni Suef Security Directorate seized 4 merchants in possession of a large amount of fireworks and missiles, during an enlarged security campaign targeting the tackle of the trade of banned materials that threaten public security, within the scope of the Baba Police Station.

Details of the incident started with secret information with Brigadier Walid Baligh, head of the Criminal Investigation Branch in Beni Suef, stating that a number of people in fireworks and missiles are traded within the Baba Center, and distributed them to small merchants to sell them to citizens, which poses a danger to public safety, especially during the month of Ramadan and the occasions that witness a demand for these types of crackers.
The movements of the security services
According to that information, coordination was made with Lt. Col. Ahmed Bahgat, head of the Baba Police Station Investigation, to form a criminal investigation team, as the movements of the suspects were monitored, and their places of storage for fireworks were determined in preparation for their promotion in the markets, and after obtaining permission from the Public Prosecution, the security services prepared an enlarged campaign targeting the dens of storing these dangerous materials.
The efforts of the security campaign resulted in the seizure of 4 merchants in possession of large quantities of fireworks and missiles, which amounted to more than 4 thousand diverse pieces, which were equipped for distribution and sale, with the aim of achieving illegal gains without looking at the risks that may result from the circulation of these materials, such as causing injuries and accidents, in addition to violating the laws regulating.
The seizures were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, in preparation for their presentation to the investigation authorities to start their work.
