The Endowments Directorate in Qalioubia announced the allocation of 297 mosques to receive the retreat, in the governorate during the last ten days of Ramadan, as part of the Directorate’s plan aimed at preparing mosques to establish religious rituals, and provide the appropriate atmosphere for worshipers, while adhering to the legal and regulatory controls that ensure the preservation of the sanctity of mosques and the achievement of the purposes of worship.
Sheikh Yasser Ghayati, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in Qalioubia, announced that the mosques of Al -Tahajjud in the governorate number 297 mosques.
The Qalubiya Endowments Directorate stressed a set of regulations regulating i’tikaaf, and obligated the retreating to maintain the cleanliness of the mosque and the sanctity of the place, and adhere to the right Islamic behavior.
The Qaliubiya Endowments Directorate warned against delivering lessons or advocacy thoughts except through the imam of the mosque or its cost of the ministry with an official letter, and prevented the distribution of any books or leaflets inside the mosque, while being satisfied with seeing the official library of the mosque when it is available.
The Directorate has equipped all mosques designated for i’tikaaf to ensure the comfort and safety of the retreat, while providing direct supervision from the imams to ensure the provision of a suitable spiritual environment that helps to devote himself to worship and obedience, and the Directorate has identified the mosques designated for the tahajjud prayer carefully, to ensure its stay in an atmosphere filled with reverence and tranquility, in order to allow worshipers to perform this great ritual with all reassurance.
