The Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University announced the lighting of the Dome of Qasr Al -Aini, to celebrate the 198th anniversary of the establishment of the first school of medicine in Egypt as a symbol of medical achievement and academic dedication.

The Faculty of Medicine said in a statement: On this gorgeous evening, we celebrate ancient memories and inspire the great spirit of the past to continue the process of development and innovation, and this comes on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the first school of medicine in Egypt, Qasr Al -Aini Hospital, which this year coincides with March 18, the 198 years of leadership and achievement in the fields of medicine and science.
Dr. Hossam Salah, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Hospitals Board of Directors, expressed with pride and deep pride, introducing the highest verses of congratulations and blessings for both the pioneering faculty members, the creative assisting body, doctors and medical cadres whose names were written in the letters of gold, to the Nursing Authority and loyal workers, and all our students and students of the Faculty of Medicine of Qasr Al -Aini.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine said; The Faculty of Medicine, Qasr Al -Aini, was a scientific beacon that enlightened the paths of medicine in Egypt and the world, as it removed generations of superior doctors and cadres who have immortalized her achievements in the home service record. This anniversary is not just a celebration of the ancient past, but rather a strong incentive to continue to raise the level of education and scientific research to serve future generations and achieve more wonderful achievements.
