According to officials in the United States, at least two people were killed after two small planes collided with one engine at the Marana Regional Airport in Arizona, according to the American NBC News.
The US Federal Aviation Administration announced that the Lancir 360 MK2 and another Cisna 172 S plane collided before 8:30 am local time.
The Marana Police Administration confirmed through a Facebook post, that it was at the site of the accident, and announced that the National Transportation Safety Authority would lead the investigation.
In a statement, the National Transportation Safety Authority indicated that the two planes collided while they were in the direction of the wind on the runway 12, and the statement added that the Cesna plane landed in peace, while a Lancar plane hit the ground near the runway 3 and the fire broke out after the collision.
Aircraft crash in the United States
This accident comes after a series of accidents of other aircraft crashing, including an emergency landing at Toronto airport, a fatal air aircraft crash in Philadelphia on January 31, and a collision in the air between an army helicopter and a commercial plane.
