Today … the Belarus and Russia Agreement on airports and air navigation fees, enters into force

The Ministry of Transport and Communications in Belarus announced that the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Russia regarding airport fees and air navigation services entered into force starting from today, Saturday, March.

The document provides for equal competitive conditions for Belarusian and Russian airlines, and the agreement was signed in Moscow on June 28, 2023, according to Belarus News Agency.

The ministry’s press service indicated that the transportation departments in the two countries notified each other by completing the necessary internal procedures to enter the agreement, starting from today, Saturday, March 2025.

Cooperation between Belarus and Russia

Earlier, the parliament in the Belarusian National Assembly approved the draft law to ratify the security guarantees treaty within the Union’s state between Russia and Belarus, to enhance relations between the two sides, and apply the principles of joint defense within the framework of the union state.

The security guarantee treaty was signed within the Union State between Russia and Belarus by President Alexander Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the meeting of the Supreme Council of State in Minsk on December 6, 2024, and aims to enhance the security of Belarus and Russia within the joint defense area of ​​the union between the two sides.
