Today, the activities of the first edition of the Arab Forum for Economics, Investment and International Cooperation, in one of the hotels of Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai Governorate, will start today with the participation of 6 countries, and a group of economic experts and investors from Arab and international countries, to discuss the most prominent economic issues and investment opportunities in the region.
The activities of the forum begins at five in the evening today, as it is opened by Dr. Talal Abu Ghazala, the honorary president of the conference, the legal accountant Haitham Turki, Dr. Medhat Nafi, member of the Consultative Council of the Prime Minister, and Khaled Nour El -Din, member of the Board of Directors of the General Division of importers of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, In addition to a representative of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, in the context of emphasizing the role of financial markets in supporting the investment environment and stimulating economic growth.
The forum continues for two days, as it discusses many important economic axes, including economic reforms, investment incentives and challenges facing investors, in addition to looking at the future of the investment environment in light of local and international changes.
Sameh Al -Nasaj, Secretary -General of the Conference of Cairo 2024, stated that the forum highlights the future of the accounting and review profession in light of the accelerating developments, with a focus on the impact of artificial intelligence and modern audit mechanisms, as well as the challenges and opportunities available at local, regional and international levels.
He explained that the forum is accompanied by an exhibition of plastic art by the artist Dr. Al -Gohary Al -Shabini, in addition to an exhibition of the original Sinai and Egyptian products in its first edition, which aims to highlight the quality and diversity of local products and enhance investment opportunities and marketing them.
He pointed out that the forum is participating in a group of senior economists and financial and businessmen, which makes it a major platform to enhance economic and investment cooperation between Arab and international countries, and to discuss ways to confront global threats

Al -Narj revealed that the forum is the first of its kind, as it brings together representatives from 6 countries, which are Egypt, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Jordan and Bahrain, and the timing of the forum was chosen to match the need of Arab countries for more solidarity and solidarity in order to address their attempts to involve them in fateful issues related to the state of honor of the forum The occupied state of Palestine.

The second session, which is run by the journalist writer Hossam Radi, entitled “The future of the accounting and audit profession in light of digital transformations and global developments”, in which the accountant Haitham Turki and Abdel -Moneim Al -Sayed, head of the Cairo Center for Economic Studies, speaks about the changes that have occurred on the profession and its impact.
The session reviews the impact of artificial intelligence and modern technologies on the accounting and audit profession, organizational and legislative developments, challenges and opportunities at local, regional and global levels.
