The Royal Humanitarian Foundation participated in the Fourth Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, which was organized by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the period from February 24 to 25, 2025, under the slogan “Explining the future of humanitarian response”.
The Foundation was represented in the forum: His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary -General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Mr. Youssef Abdullah Al -Yaqoub, Assistant Secretary -General for Planning and Charitable Resources Development, Mrs. Heba Ibrahim Abdullah, Director of the Foreign Aid Department, and Fatima Abdulaziz Qaid, the first project specialist.
The forum, which witnessed the participation of a group of leaders, decision makers, experts and researchers in the field of humanitarian work, discussed a number of important axes, the most prominent of which are: enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between actors in the humanitarian field, the role of technology and digital transformation in improving the mechanisms of delivery of aid and developing humanitarian response, involving young people in volunteer work to enhance sustainability and build the capabilities of the next generations, and foresee of the future of humanitarian action from During scientific research and data governance.
