The Bahraini Olympic Committee participated in the meeting of the directors of the missions for the third Gulf beach games session, which was held in the Omani capital, Muscat, February 27, 2025.
The Olympic Committee was the head of the Department of Arab and International Relations, Maryam Mardana, in the presence of representatives of the Gulf Olympic Committees and representatives of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in preparation for the launch of the session that will be held from 5 to 11 April.
The timeline of the meeting included a welcome speech to His Excellency Mr. Taha bin Suleiman Al -Koshari, Secretary -General of the Omani Olympic Committee, the general manager of the session, followed by a presentation of the session, which included games, competition sites and accommodation places, then answering the inquiries of the directors of missions and representatives of the Olympic committees.
During the program, a field visit to games, competitions and residence hotels was also established, then tourist tours in Muscat.
It is noteworthy that the tournament includes 8 sports games, beach football, beach handball, beach volleyball, air sports, beach athletics, sailing, long swimming, and pegs.
