The first team, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received the Best Challenger Tennis Championship in Asia and the Pacific for the year 2024 (Fourth Championship), which was presented by Julia Bayajiva, Executive Vice President of the Challenger Championships for the Tennis Professionals Association (ATP).
The award was delivered in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, General Supervisor of the Ministry of Interior Championship for Tennis.
The Minister of the Interior expressed his pride in this achievement, which reflects the efforts made in supporting and organizing sporting events at international levels, stressing that the Kingdom’s hosting of such championships reflects its vision in promoting sport and developing its infrastructure.
This honor comes as an affirmation of the prestigious position that the Kingdom of Bahrain has in the field of hosting sporting events, and ensuring the implementation of the highest organizational standards that contribute to the success of international championships.
