Dr. Sharif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, stressed that the state provides all food commodities at reasonable prices in the markets before the month of Ramadan, and explaining that the prices are reduced in the exhibitions of the people of Ramadan by 30% than those in other markets.

Sherif Farouk added in a television interview this evening, Monday, that there is continuous control of the markets and the exhibitions of Ahla Ramadan, and the prime minister opened 28 exhibitions in several governorates, in addition to the presence of more than 300 markets of Ahla Ramadan exhibitions at the level of the Republic to provide food commodities.
The Minister of Supply indicated that communication with officials in the exhibitions of Ahla Ramadan to ensure that food commodities are provided with high quality and appropriate prices, explaining that there is a new system that allows the citizen to search for food prices through the application It is in it.
And the Minister of Supply added that the modern electronic system will be used in the citizen’s participation in knowing the prices of goods, and it will also help in knowing the places that provide food commodities at reasonable prices.
He explained that there is a follow -up to all electronic systems accurately through the technological mechanization of the citizen service.
Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, stressed that the cost is the real challenge for Egypt to reach a high wheat storage rate, explaining that there is continuous communication with Dr. Ahmed Kajuk, Minister of Finance to face the cost challenge and increase the percentage of wheat storage.
Sherif Farouk added in a television interview this evening, Monday, that there is a great cooperation between the ministers in the government to upgrade all the services provided to citizens, explaining that Egypt consumes 20 to 21 million tons of wheat, whether a private sector or a government or support for catering.
He continued: There must be an economic view of the creation of wheat silos to achieve positive economic responses, as the state is keen that its ideas have an economic and commercial aspect, and silos can be created in the economic zone of the Suez Canal, in Port Said or in the northern coast.
The Minister of Supply explained that the train is used to transport the wheat because it is the most suitable in the financial cost, and there is cooperation with the team Kamel, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Transport, regarding the delivery of the train lines to wheat silos.
Sharif Farouk indicated that the transfer of wheat with river transport reduces the cost, reduces the pressure on the roads and reaches the mills safely and quickly.
