In the presence of Osama bin Saleh Al -Alawi, Minister of Social Development, the Bahrain Women’s Association for Human Development organized the “Earth Jewels” event, with the participation of a group of people interested in environmental issues and sustainability. The culture of sustainability, stressing that environmental protection is not only an individual responsibility, but rather a collective responsibility that requires solidarity of all sectors, from Governmental institutions, civil organizations and members of society. Al -Alawi praised the efforts made by the Bahrain Women’s Association for Human Development in spreading environmental awareness, and its active role in enhancing sustainable environmental practices, and stressed the commitment of the Ministry of Social Development to support community initiatives to ensure a more sustainable environment for future generations. At the end of the ceremony, The minister expressed his appreciation to those in charge of organizing the event, stressing the Ministry’s keenness to support efforts Community that contributes to achieving a balance between development and the preservation of the environment. The event has witnessed the organization of educational paragraphs aimed at highlighting the importance of preserving the environment, and the event also included introductory presentations on the Bahrain Women’s Association for Human Development, in addition to a dialogue episode and an exhibition of environmental projects and artistic offers.
