His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, received, at the Sakhir Palace, this day, the major participants in the “Islamic -Islamic Dialogue” conference, led by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders And hosting by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the generous sponsorship of His Majesty the King, and with the participation of more than 400 personalities of scholars, leaders, Islamic references, thinkers, intellectuals and interested people From all over the world under the slogan “one nation and a common destiny”, organized by Al -Azhar, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, and the Council of Muslim Elders.
At the beginning of the reception, His Majesty the great king welcomed the Kingdom’s guests, thanking them for their presence and participation in this important Islamic conference, and wishing them all the best in their blessed meeting in order to unify the word, to reunite among Muslim brothers and strengthen Islamic unity.

May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
It is good for us to meet you in a blessed hour of the hours of meeting and communication, on the occasion of the Islamic -Islamic Dialogue Conference, which initiated his idea, from the land of Bahrain more than two years ago, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders, His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Al -Tayeb, may God protect him and bless his sincere endeavors To serve Islam and Muslims.
And here we are, today, we respond to that historical call, by establishing this important and intended conference to renew Islamic thought, preparing for a new stage that enables us to seek proper and faithful expression of the essence of Islam, and the rational dealing with the challenges facing the nation, and hindering its civilization progress.
It is not hidden from you, O honorable presence, what our Islamic nation has passed and passes through, from difficult circumstances, they are given to us to do more to reach a word, whether between us, our hearts gather, unite our word, tighten from our pride, and reject the division and disagreement, so there is no glory to this nation or no Sultan except with her unity, and her adherence to her religion, In compliance with the divine call in the dear book:﴿ And obey God and His Messenger, and do not dispute, so shivering and glow your wind.
We look forward, for this regard, to the contributions of the scientific and legitimate conference in how to spread moderate thought, and stop religious and sectarian exploitation threatening the stability of societies and the rule of homelands, which in turn requires the creation of renewable and serious mechanisms to expand the circle of understanding and rapprochement to include all components of our Islamic societies, and with a wise leadership of symbols and religious references and references from All schools and intellectual doctrines.
We would like here to emphasize the Kingdom of Bahrain standing alongside what will be issued by this blessed religious forum from a comprehensive matter that brings our Islamic nation to the goal of the true “religious brotherhood”, by consolidating solidarity and rapprochement between Islamic sects, and considering the difference between them, the difference in diversity and complementarity, and that what It collects it much more than it separates it.
We do not miss, in this regard, that we praise the pioneering role of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which brings together a group of the country’s scholars to serve the true religion, and for the sake of the elevation of Muslims and its reunification.
We are also proud of the unified Bahraini family law, whose typical experience has proven that the convergence between Islamic schools of thought is able to absorb the limited points of difference, without this leading to any division or disagreement.
In conclusion, we praise God Almighty for His grace and honor Him by making us from the people of one qiblah, and a symbol of unity and consensus, so we have become a brothers in his grace, and we ask him the Almighty, to prepare for us from our affairs, and to help everyone for the good and benefit of the nation, it is heard.

And I go to God Almighty with supplication that the Arab leaders will be successful in their upcoming Arab summit in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to collect their word and unite them.
