His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, approved and issued Law No. (7) of 2025 to ratify the agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the government of the Hong Kong Region Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China regarding the removal of double taxation with regard to taxes on income and preventing evasion and tax aviation, after the approval of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives, stating:
Article 1
The agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the government of the Hong Kong region of the Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China regarding the removal of double taxation regarding income taxes and preventing evasion and tax aviation, signed in the city of Manama on March 3, 2024, and accompanying this law.
Article Two
The Prime Minister and the ministers- each regarding his competence- must implement the provisions of this law, and it is working on it from the day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
