Jamal Salem Al -Qudah, a lawyer for the family of Aya Adel, revealed that the absence of the late passport caused the failure of the procedures for transferring the body to Cairo.
Judges: The husband is likely to hide the passport
Aya Adel’s family, during statements to Cairo 24, said that the husband is likely to have concealed her passport, noting that the procedures for obtaining a travel document will be completed within two or three days.
The lawyer has previously made it clear that the news circulated about the release of her husband is incorrect, noting that the case is still under investigation before the competent authorities.
The judges added that the victim’s family testified before the public prosecutor, as their statements focused on being subjected to mistreatment for long periods, stressing that she was a victim of repeated attacks, and that they believed that she was killed, demanding a comprehensive investigation to reveal the circumstances of the incident.
During the investigations, the family revealed that Aya Adel was subjected to divorce several times by her husband, but he did not officially document the divorce, which led to the continued differences between them, indicating the start of the procedures for transferring the body tomorrow, after completing all the required legal procedures.
