Kasr Al Ainy 4th International Foot and Ankle Course started from February 19 to 22, a specialized scientific conference that extends over a period of 4 days, and aims to provide the latest developments in foot and ankle surgeries, with the participation of a group of senior experts from the United States of America, Kingdom United, Portugal, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.
The conference included a theoretical part that included multiple scientific lectures, which dealt with the latest research and advanced surgical techniques in this field.
The practical part of the participants also provided the opportunity to see the apparent examination and surgical planning of cases, in addition to a live broadcast of advanced surgeries over the course of a full day, which enhances the skills of trained surgeons and raises the level of their efficiency.
The conference was held under the auspices of Dr. Hossam Salah, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Qasr Al -Aini and Chairman of the Hospital Board
During his speech at the conference, Dr. Hossam Salah stressed the importance of developing surgical skills and interacting with the latest developments in foot and ankle surgeries, noting that Al -Aini Palace always seeks to support his medical cadres and enhance continuous learning opportunities.
In turn, Dr. Walid Obaid welcomed the participants, and stressed the importance of this training course in developing the skills of surgeons specializing in foot and ankle surgeries, noting that this specialization is witnessing a rapid development worldwide, and that the exchange of experiences between international and Egyptian surgeons is an important step in improving the medical services provided For patients.
The conference witnessed an intense presence of orthopedic surgeons from across Egypt, which reflects the great interest in developing surgical skills in the specialty of foot and ankle, as well as enhancing the position of Al -Aini Palace as a pioneering center in continuous medical education and providing the latest research in the field of orthopedics.
