The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee for the year 2025 was held by Sheikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Committee, in the presence of members of the Council.
During the meeting, the meeting minutes were reviewed and the most important topics in the Paralympic sports arena.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the Paralympic Committee of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the Public Authority for Sports, blessed him on the occasion of his consensus by the General Assembly of the Bahrain Olympic Committee to chair the Olympic Committee for a new electoral session (2024-2028).
Sheikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa also praised the celebration of Bahrain Sports Day and the various sporting activities, expressing his appreciation for the care of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for this great event.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa congratulated His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee and President of the Bahrain Bicycle Federation, on the occasion of his victory and obtaining the membership of the Asian Cycling Federation for the electoral cycle 2024-2028, during the General Assembly of the Asian Cycling Federation that was held today in Bangkok, Thailand, and Dr. Sawsan Haji Muhammad Tuqi, Member of the Board The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Federation of Featory Featory and Squash in its new session (2024-2028), as well as Miss Latifa Bouhaji on the occasion of her appointment to the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Federation of Featory Feather and Squash in the same session.
The administrative and financial report was also entrusted to the year 2024.
At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa expressed his great appreciation for the efforts of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee, stressing his confidence in its ability to achieve more successes. He stressed the importance of supporting partners and governmental and private agencies to enhance Paralympic sport and enable players with determination, stressing that continuous cooperation is the way to achieve the desired goals.
