The French Ministry of the Interior announced the arrest of Omar, nicknamed “Fly”, which is involved in drugs, robbery, violence and killing cases, in Romania, on Saturday.
President Emmanuel Macron described the arrest as “great success.”
Prime Minister Francois Bayro said it was “a great success for our national police. High professionalism and perseverance deserves gratitude.”
Interior Minister Bruno Ritayo also praised the “decisive Romania cooperation” in the arrest of Omar.
