Lebanese media reported that an Israeli march launched 3 air strikes on the Hermel area in northern Lebanon, targeting a car belonging to a Hezbollah element called Mahdi Shaheen.
According to reports, the raid resulted in the martyrdom of two people, one of them from Hezbollah, and the attack took place in the eastern region of Lebanon, in a new escalation of tensions in the region.
Take the necessary measures to address Israeli violations and obligate Israel to withdraw
The President of the Lebanese Republic, Joseph Aoun, held a meeting with the Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in Baabda Palace, to discuss the Israeli withdrawal from the south of the country.
After the meeting, the Presidency of the Republic issued a statement confirming the UN Security Council, to demand that it take the necessary measures to address the Israeli violations and obligate Israel to immediately withdraw to the international borders, according to the UN Resolution 1701.
