The shares of Al -Jouf Agricultural Company listed in the Saudi stock market “Tadawul” increased by 1.30% at the end of the Saudi market transactions today, Wednesday, to close at the price of 54.50 riyals per share, after the Board of Directors decided to distribute profits from 2024.
The trading on Al -Jouf Agricultural Company at that time came at 222.52 thousand shares, with a value of trading 12.01 million riyals.
The highest price for the share at that time was at 55.10 riyals, during the session, while the lowest price for the stock was at 53 riyals.
The price of Al -Jouf Agricultural Development Company witnessed a remarkable increase after the company’s board of directors, in its meeting held yesterday, February 25, 2025, to distribute cash dividends to shareholders from the second half (the third and fourth quarter) of the fiscal year 2024.
According to the company, the distribution of profits was determined by 5% of the nominal value of the share, equivalent to 0.5 riyals per share.
The company explained that the total amount distributed about 15 million riyals, distributed over 30 million shares.
The company also confirmed that the date of the right to shareholders will be on April 15, 2025, with profits to be distributed within 15 working days from the date of entitlement.
With regard to the company’s financial results, Al -Jouf data for agricultural development showed an increase in net profits by 21.5% during the year 2024, as net profits reached 75.3 million riyals compared to 61.97 million riyals in 2023.
The data also showed an increase in the company’s sales by 36.66%, to record 582.79 million riyals in 2024, compared to 426.43 million riyals in the previous year.
