The share of the Holding Investment Company listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange increased by 7.32% during Sunday’s trading, to close at the price of 2.14 riyals, to achieve its highest level in 16 months.
And traded on 21.54 million shares, with a value of trading 46.20 million riyals, while the highest price for the share was at 2.20 riyals, while the lowest price came at 2.02 riyals, to touch the share in the highest price for a year, 11 months and 20 days.
In a separate context, the investment company, the Holding Company, announced that annual profits achieved a growth of 16.27% during the year 2024, where it recorded a net profit of 404.32 million riyals, compared to 347.75 million riyals in the year 2023.
The company’s board of directors also recommended the ordinary general assembly to distribute cash dividends to shareholders by 10% of the company’s capital, in addition to distributing free shares by one share per 10 shares, equivalent to 0.1 shares per share.
With regard to the results of the nine months ending on September 30, 2024, the company made profits of 335.74 million riyals, an increase of 10.94% compared to the same period in the year 2023, during which it recorded profits of 302.62 million riyals.
