Marwan Fouad Kamal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, participated in the meeting of agents of the ministries of youth and sports in the countries of the Cooperation Council, in the context of preparations for the thirty -eighth meeting of the ministers of youth and sports in the countries of the Council, which was hosted by the sisterly State of Kuwait.
During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs stressed the importance of joint Gulf action in empowering young people and enhancing their role in building a brighter future, noting the need to join efforts between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to create a supportive environment that stimulates young energies and provides them with opportunities to achieve their aspirations.
The Undersecretary also pointed to the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to support joint Gulf work, considering that investing in youth is the most important investment for the future of the region, stressing the importance of enhancing youth investment opportunities as a major pillar to achieve sustainable development and create new innovative opportunities that contribute to the elevation of Gulf societies.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the future action plan for the Committee for the years (2025-2030), in addition to a number of pivotal issues, including the Gulf Youth Development Index, and the Gulf activities and programs approved by the Budget from the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, as well as discussing ways to enhance international cooperation in the field of work Joint youth, and the development of youth investment mechanisms.
The meeting also witnessed highlighting the celebration of the Gulf Sports Day for All (December 14), Gulf Youth Day (June 6), in addition to discussing the recommendations of the technical committees for the year 2025, and reviewing the names of honorable youth work, creators and distinguished from the youth of the GCC countries for the year 2025.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed on a set of important recommendations that will be presented during the thirty -eighth meeting of the ministers of youth and sports in the Gulf Cooperation Council states, scheduled for Tuesday, February 18th.
