The source said in exclusive statements to Cairo 24, that there are mutual needs between the holding company, electricity production companies and the Egyptian electricity transport company before starting the separation process.
The source pointed out that the aim of separating the Egyptian Electricity Company from the Holding Company is to enhance the attracting foreign investments and encourage investors to establish more power stations, adding that the chapter aims to enable the Egyptian electricity transfer company to become an independent entity that runs, operates and preserves transportation networks with efforts Super and high, which increases its independence and gives it the ability to buy and transfer energy from the electrical stations of the holding company or from private sector companies.
