The Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, affirmed today, Monday, Jordan’s steadfast position on the Palestinian issue, which rejects displacement, resettlement and the alternative homeland.
King Abdullah stressed that his position has not and will not change, and that the saying over 25 years is: No for displacement, no resettlement, no for the alternative homeland, denouncing the doubts of some of these fixed situations.
Preserving Jordan’s interest and stability above all considerations
This came during the king’s conversation upon his meeting with a group of retired weapons comrades at the Hashemite Royal Court, on the occasion of the day of loyalty to the military retirees and the old warriors, in the presence of Prince Al -Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince.
The Kingdom Channel reported that the king expressed his optimism despite all the challenges, stressing that he derives the strength and courage from his people, the Jordanian armed forces, the security services and the retired military companions.
King Abdullah added that he knows the readiness of the military retirees to wear the military uniform (Votic), and to stand on his right and right in the face of all challenges.
Speaking of his recent visit to Washington, the king stressed that preserving the interest and stability of Jordan and protecting Jordan and Jordanians above all considerations, stressing the importance of working to rebuild Gaza without the displacement of Palestinian brothers in Gaza and the West Bank.
He reaffirmed the importance of working to reduce escalation in the West Bank, and that achieving a fair and comprehensive peace on the basis of the two -state solution is the only way to achieve stability in the region.
