EgyptAir announced the cancellation of 4 flights between Cairo and Athens, due to the strike scheduled for Friday, February 28th at the Greek capital, Athens.
A strike at Athens Airport cancels flights to Egypt Air
The company explained that the two flights No. MS747 and MS749 are heading from Cairo to Athens, as well as the two flights No. MS748 and MS750 returning from Athens to Cairo, were canceled in accordance with the instructions issued by the airport administration.
In the context of absorbing the affected travelers, EgyptAir decided to run an alternative flight No. MS1749, which will leave from Cairo to Athens at 23:00 pm on Friday, February 28, while flight No. MS1750 from Athens to Cairo will take off at 02:00 pm on Saturday 1 March.
EgyptAir called on its customers travelers on these flights to review their reservations and verify the amendments by communicating with the company’s customer service center.
