Egypt without a disease of health care announced during its annual ceremony today, Monday, the “EWD DREAMERS” program, which aims to enhance volunteering and develop youth from the age of 7 to 18 years, providing free educational workshops throughout the summer months, with the aim of developing personal and professional skills, and consolidating the values of innovation and work Collective and volunteering, as it is scheduled to include 30 young men and women in the presence of his elite ministries, businessmen and companies interested in sustainable development and partner bodies.
During its annual ceremony, the Foundation reviewed its most prominent achievements in supporting the health sector and serving 300 thousand beneficiaries in 11 governorates, and revealed its new programs aimed at expanding the scope of its services, as it was emphasized that the EWD Dreamers program was not limited to providing theoretical content, but focused on Practical application and learning in practice, as the participants organized a “integrated bazaar” in which they took over all stages of work, from the design of products, to advertising and photography, promoting and selling them, and giving them realistic experience in entrepreneurship and volunteer work, and promoted leadership skills, teamwork, and effective communication .
The program workshops included a set of vital fields, including: first aid, programming and technology, photography, video and cinematic directing, digital marketing, creative design and handicrafts, as these activities aimed to prepare a conscious generation capable of making a positive and sustainable change in its society, by providing them with skills And knowledge that enables them to participate actively in community development.
For her part, Dr. Lamia Kamal, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Egypt without a disease of health care, confirmed that the youth are the key to the future, and through the EWD Dreamers program we seek to prepare a new generation capable of leadership and effective contribution to the development of society, noting that the program aims to provide young people with skills Necessary to be leaders today and tomorrow, and paves the way for the next generation to be volunteers and leaders in the field of community work, and through the program we have seen very innovative energies and ideas and we are proud of these young people and we believe that they will be the main pillar on which the institution depends in the coming years.
Mira Mohamed, one of the participants in the first session of the program, expressed her happiness with her participation in the EWD DREAMERS program, and explained how this experience was pivotal in her personal growth, as she gained a practical experience in the field of volunteering, which strengthened her skills in communication, community participation and leadership, Magdifa: Be part of the EWD program Dreamers was a great opportunity to learn from others, and to contribute to a positive change in my community.
Marinla Rams, one of the participants in the first session of the program, said: I thought my project was very small, but here, in the workshop, helped me to develop it .. I learned how I promoted it via social media, which opened new horizons for me.
Youssef Adel, one of the youth participating in the first session of the program, said: One of them volunteered to help me and give me the information that I learned today, I can also volunteer and present this knowledge to another person, so everything I learned here is not just personal experiences, but tools that I can use and share with others.
The “Egypt without illness” Foundation also emphasized that strengthening a culture of volunteer is not just a transient activity, but rather a lifestyle that contributes to building a more interconnected and responsible society.
Through these initiatives, the Foundation believes that empowering young people and involving them in societal work is one of the main keys to achieving sustainable development, as they become active elements capable of making real and positive change.
It is noteworthy that the Egypt Foundation without a disease aims to provide health care services in dignity and humanity for every person who is unable, and this includes providing dialysis centers, nurseries of premature infants, specialized clinics and hospitals, intensive care units and operations in addition to medical convoys and health initiatives.
