The Minya Culture Palace organized a distinguished artistic workshop under the title “Dousts of the Equipments of the Environment”, in a Ramadan atmosphere full of creativity, this workshop that comes within the activities of the Ministry of Culture, and witnessed a wide participation of social service students, who interacted enthusiastically with the ideas offered and the materials used.
Revival of manual heritage
The workshop was distinguished by the focus on the use of the available environmental materials, such as burlap and tents, to add aesthetic touch to Ramadan pendants. This trend reflects the keenness of the Minya Culture Palace to encourage the recycling of materials and revive the authentic Egyptian manual heritage.
Specialized supervision
The artists Shaima Mustafa and Yusra Makled, who specialize in plastic arts, supervised the workshop, and they provided valuable guidelines for students on how to convert simple materials into creative artworks, carrying a distinctive Ramadan character.
Various cultural events
This workshop comes within a series of cultural and artistic events organized by the General Authority for Culture Palaces, under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, and the chairmanship of Major General Khaled Al -Laban, and the supervision of the writer Mohamed Nassef, Vice -President of the Authority, and the region of the Cultural Upper Egypt, through the Minya Culture Branch headed by Rehab Tawfiq .
Enhancing environmental awareness
The importance of the workshop was not limited to the technical and creative side, but rather extended to include enhancing environmental awareness among the participating students, through the use of environmental materials, highlighted the importance of preserving the environment, and reducing dependence on manufactured materials.
Encouraging creativity
This workshop aims to encourage creativity among young people, develop their artistic skills, and introduce them to the importance of art in our lives, as it seeks to enhance the Egyptian cultural identity, through the revival of manual heritage and the use of local materials.
Workshop success
The workshop achieved great success, as students interacted with them positively, and produced great artistic tables, reflecting their creativity and skills, as the participants expressed their happiness with this experience, which gave them the opportunity to learn and express themselves through art.
