The “Classico Egypt” meeting ended with a 1-1 draw, which is a disappointing result for the two teams, as the tie for Pyramids will allow the unilateral to be led by Al-Ahly, and will reduce the chances of Zamalek in the competition.
Al -Ahly opened the scoring through its new star, and the former Zamalek player, Ashraf Bin Sharqi, in the 72nd minute.
But Zamalek is fair in the 84th minute, through the left back, Moroccan Mahmoud Pentayk.
The Pyramids Club can now lead 3 points from Al -Ahly, in the event of victory over the Vanguard of the Army, on Sunday night.
