The village of Jihad on the western desert road in the Adwa Center in Minya Governorate witnessed a gas leakage caused by excavation work for Telecom Egypt.
The accident resulted in the breaking of two sub -lines, namely (63) Qatar 2 inches responsible for feeding the gas in the village of jihad.
Immediately, all the concerned authorities, including the civil protection teams, moved to the site of the accident, and the necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of the population, as the main gas prison was separated until the completion of the repairs.

The Civil Protection Forces also imposed a security cordon around the site of the accident at a distance of 3 meters from all directions, in order to ensure that the place is secured and any additional danger occurred, and the police were informed to inspect the incident and take the necessary action.
The responsible authorities emphasized that the situation is under control, and that the reforms are underway in full swing to safely restore service as soon as possible, and called on residents to stay away from the accident site until the completion of the procedures completely
