Mr. Mohamed Abdel -Latif bin Jalal, President of the Bahraini Athletics Federation, chaired the first meeting of the Federation’s Board of Directors, which was held on Tuesday 18 February 2025 in the presence of all members of the board of directors for the new electoral session 2024-2028 AD.
Bin Jalal welcomed all members and congratulated them on winning the membership of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Athletics Federation, stressing the importance of continuing efforts and working in the spirit of one family to achieve more achievements for Bahraini sports, especially since athletics are one of the completed games and has a full record of successes.
Later on, the Board of Directors reviewed the items listed on the agenda, where the minutes of the last meeting No. (4) of the Board of Directors were approved in the 2020-2024 session, then the distribution of administrative positions to the members for the new session, where it was decided to appoint both Youssef Ahmed Secretary -General, Khaled Mubarak Al -Dossari as Vice -President Eng. Badr Nasser Muhammad Al -Amin Al -Finance and Chairman of the Media Committee, Mohamed Nabil Al -Hamid, Chairman of the Development Committee, Mohamed Youssef Al -Shihabi, Chairman of the Doping and Ethics Committee, Muhammad Ali Ahmed, Chairman of the Competitions Committee The rulers, Muhammad Ali Ahmadi, Chairman of the Marketing and Investment Committee, Khaled Faris Al -Qatami, Chairman of the Public Relations Committee, Ruqaya Mansour Al -Ghazra, Chairman of the Women’s Committee.
The Federation’s Board of Directors approved the following regulations, laws and policies:
1- The regulations and laws of the Bahraini Agency for Anti-Doping.
2- The Athletes Department of the Bahrain Athletics Federation
3- The Policy of the Nutritional Supplements of the Bahraini Athletics Federation
4- Medical therapy and nutritional supplements of the Bahrain Athletics Federation
Later on the financial and administrative expenses were reviewed and approved, then the external posts for 2025 reviewed and finally the new works.
